| How far in advance do I need to order a cake or cookies? | At least one week in advance is preferred. If less than a week, call me to discuss your needs, my schedule, etc. Due to the designing and customizing done, some cakes require more planning to make them a reality.Wedding Cakes normally require at least three months notice. Please call me if within this time period. |
| Do I need to pick up the cake or do you deliver? | WEDDING CAKES: The delivery and setup charge is included in the price of your cake if you are within a 10 mile radius Sweet Cakes. There will be a $1.50 per mile (one-way) delivery charge outside of this area. SPECIAL OCCASION CAKES: You may pick them up or there is a $1.50 per mile (with a $5.00 minimum) delivery charge. If needed, there is also a minimum $10.00 charge to set up any cake at the delivery point. |
| What if we have some ideas we'd like to discuss before placing an order? | Please feel free to call or e-mail me and we can set up a mutually convenient time to get together to discuss your ideas. |
| Do you deliver outside NC? | No, due to the design and detail of the cakes, they are not able to be shipped and successfully arrive at their destination in the same condition. |
| I've seen a picture on the website that I like, but not sure if it's the right size. Can it be changed? | Yes, most cakes can be made to the size you need for your special occasion. Please contact me and we can determine what size would best fit your needs. |
| I'm not very creative. Do I need to come up with my own idea for a cake design? | No. If you have something in mind though, please let me know so I can try to make the cake to your specifications. Otherwise, working together, we can determine what design would be best to fit the personality of that special person you're buying the cake for. |
